Crown Catering were soaking up the sun yesterday at the Bowood Charity Dog Show and Summer Fair. This year marked the 8th year of the show, started by the Marchioness of Lansdowne, which has raised £163,000 to date for local charities, such as Macmillan, Dorothy House, Age Uk and Wiltshire Blind Association.

Dog TrialsThe show had something for the entire family, with tractor demonstrations and fantastic competitions for dogs of all sizes, pedigrees and abilities. The dog show classes range from Golden oldie, Waggiest Tail, Best Rescue and The dog the judge would like to take home.

The 8000 guests who attended were also able to enjoy displays, attractions, shopping, children’s activities and food & drink. Whether you were a dog owner or just a dog lover, it was the perfect place for some summer fun this weekend.

It was the first year Crown Catering attended the show, but it proved to be a very successful day with our Paella proving to be a very popular choice to those that attended.

If you didn’t manage to go this year we would really recommend it for your diaries next year.
