Bespoke five-course private dining menu paired with winesPosted on
We were delighted to provide catering for the Pink Elephant Club ladies dinner, hosted at Leigh Court in Bristol.
The brief was to create a bespoke menu to match a specific collection of wines. This gave our chefs free rein to come up with some delicious dishes to pair with different types of wines and for different courses.
Roasted celeriac soup, hazelnut crumb
Seared scallops, pea purée, crisp bacon, sauce vierge, pea shoots and truffle foam
Duo of lamb, braised shoulder & seared tornedos, served with fondant potato, wilted rainbow chard, tomato, basil & caper sauce
Twice-baked Double Gloucester soufflé, cheese & ale sauce, truffle oil
Rum Baba, rum and raisin ice cream, spiced rum syrup
What the client said:
“On behalf of The Pink Elephant Club of Bristol, let me say that it was an absolute pleasure to be at our dinner last night. Everything on the evening went exceedingly well. Tigan and Katie were very attentive and helpful, and all the serving staff were most pleasant and efficient. We could not have asked for better service.
Chef Martin and the team produced a brilliant five course dinner. ALL the courses were brilliantly presented and were very well received by all our members and guests. Also very impressed that we were in front of our “approximate timings” for each course – it doesn’t happen very often!”
