A beautiful countryside marquee wedding
Posted onHosting your own wedding in a unique and beautiful location is a wonderful way to celebrate your big day, and that’s just what Amy and Tom did. We were delighted to provide catering for this stunning marquee wedding in Gloucestershire. Below are some photos and information about the wedding to give you some inspiration.

What did they eat?
Canapes
- Yorkshire pudding, roast beef, horseradish cream
- Mini lamb kofta, pitta bread & baby gem lettuce
- Duck spring roll, hoisin dipping sauce
- Mini bacon and cheeseburger
- Honey roast fig & stilton tart
- Smoked salmon, rye bread, sour cream and caviar
Wedding breakfast
Main course
Pan fried chicken breast, squash pomme purée, green beans, sage & chilli jus
OR
Slow cooked confit belly pork, bubble and squeak, buttered seasonal greens, crackling shard
Or
Roast field mushroom and shallot filled puff pastry wellington, rosemary roasted new potatoes & vegetarian gravy (V)
Dessert
Lemon & lime posset with stem ginger shortbread and raspberry compote

Sticky toffee pudding, toffee sauce and banoffee fudge ice cream

This was a really lovely wedding in a stunning location. Marquee weddings are always beautiful because they are unique to each couple, and they are so adaptable. We loved the flowers and decorations at this wedding. Having a wide selection of canapes instead of a starter was a great idea, guests really loved nibbling food while having a drink. Offering their guests a choice of main meals and desserts ensured every guest was happy and well catered for.
